Kotagiri Farm Ventures

Is a company formed by Chennai-based real estate partners. The Kotagiri Farm Ventures brand was created to develop a holiday home project in Kotagiri, in the Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu along with Premier Gems from Mumbai. That project is GreenRock Villas.

Premier Gems, Mumbai

Established in 1992, Premier Gems, Mumbai is engaged in the importing and manufacturing of diamonds and precious jewels, and has received numerous accolades and laurels. The firm has its principal office at 545 Panchratna, Opera House, Mumbai. The firm’s partners are Mr.Surendra Kumar Agarwal and Mr.Anuj P.Agarwal.

Mr.Kannappan Vellayappan is a real estate veteran with over 25 years of experience in real estate development and transactions. He worked with Chaitanya Builders a reputed builder in Chennai, for a decade and then moved to the Siva Group (earlier Known as the Sterling Group) as its Vice President. At the Siva Group, he supervised the entire estate portfolio, compromising commercial, residential and industrial land and buildings. His expertise includes transaction management, business development, legal issues and project advisory. He was instrumental in transacting various high value deals with the Siva Group and played a key role in restructuring the real estate business of the company.
Bharath Kumar Venkatesan is a sales and marketing professional with over 15 years of proven experience at real estate brands including MagicBricks (India’s first e-commerce platform for real estate, part of India’s largest media conglomerate. The Times Group) and BBCL (Chennai- based realty major with 2 million sq. ft worth of delivered projects). Bharath’ s earlier stints with GE Money and Tata-AIG taught him the intricacies of credit financing and the importance of sales and marketing in delivering business goals. Bharath has travelled extensively around the world on numerous road shows and perfectly understands both buyer and seller points of view. His expertise involves business strategy, brand integration and turnover management.
Mahesh Govindarajan is an entrepreneur with over 12 years of experience in the realty market, developing and selling plotted layouts in Chennai. His strengths include identifying land for development, investor sourcing and relationship management. Mahesh is in diversified industries, which include entertainment and movie distribution under the brand Auraa Cinemas.
T.A.Sekar was a medium pace bowler who represented India in Test cricket and On Day Internationals. Sekar played for Tamil Nadu between 1976/77 and 1987/88, taking 74 wickets. Since then his major contribution to Indian cricket has been as a bowling coach at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai. He has also served as a national selector and holds prestigious positions at various cricket clubs and forums. He is currently on the advisory and management board for the Delhi Daredevils IPL team.

Venkatesh Krishnan (CA & CS) is our financial consultant, advising on finance and tax matters. VK looks after the complete project accounts, investor – bank relations and money management of Kotagiri Farm Ventures.
